The successful method of tin planting in mobile phone chips

Step 1: We prepare the common tools for tin planting and clean the chip and the corresponding tin planting board hole of the chip.

Step 2: Fix the chip on the tin planting board with label paper, and then fill the solder paste with a blade.

Step 3: Use tweezers to press the tin planting board and heat it with the nozzle of the hot air gun, make sure to master the temperature of the air gun (generally around 400 degrees), the wind (do not exceed 1.5) and the height (2.5cm). When heating, move left and right slightly to heat the tin planting board evenly. And when the solder paste turns into a spherical shape, it means that the solder paste is melted, and then you can stop it.

After the above steps, if you can successfully implant the tin, then congratulations, you have succeeded again.

However, if there are many points that are not planted to the tin, or because the solder paste is not very evenly applied, many solder balls protrude from the surface of the board, resulting in the implanted chip and the board cannot be well detached. Don't worry, please continue to the next steps below -

          The first case: If the tin balls emerge from the tin planting board during the blowing process, resulting in many points not being planted. The traditional method is that when tin planting fails, you can repeat the above 3 steps, or you can use a faster method: Use a blade (must be sharp) to flatten the protruding part of the tin planting board, then fill the unplanted holes with solder paste, blow it again with an air gun, and when the solder paste melts, stop heating. Flatten the protruding part of the tin planting board with a blade and blow again. In this way, the second repair is successful.

The second case: If the traditional steps are still unsuccessful, it is because the solder paste is added manually after all, which is impossible to apply too evenly, resulting in a normal separation between the chip and the tin planting board. At this time, you must remember: DO NOT pull down hard, because it is easy to pull out the tin point on the chip. If the tin point on the chip is accidentally pulled out, you will fail again. If this is the case, we use the blade to cut off the protruding part, and blow it with an air gun, then the chip can be easily removed. If it still cannot be removed, cut and blow again until you can take it off. How about this method to ensures that you can easily remove it from the chip, also the tin dots are very uniform.
